SIR – I thought Worcester News readers may be interested in this old photograph of St George’s Scout Group from about 1949.
Some of the names are: back row, Bill Wilson (Scout master) Ken Batty, Trevor Jones, Graham Avery, John Smith, Martin Smith, Nevil Kennedy, Brian Jones, Jeff Ambrose and Owen Rivett.
Also pictured in the middle, second row down, is Ray Handy (Scout master) and the lady on the left is Mrs Powell (Cub mistress).
