May I suggest that the Evesham Town Council begin marketing the region as a competitor to Blackpool for the many fantastic illuminations currently on show in the town? 

OK, they may only be (mainly) red, amber and green lights but to get so many on every corner of every street really is an accomplishment.

And the genius of it is that you spend so much time waiting in traffic that you get to really study the lights along with other things such as pondering whether your existence is worthwhile.

Perhaps it’s a deliberate ploy to keep us in this town which other than a fantastic cinema has nothing going for it - if it’s this hard to leave it then perhaps people won’t bother?

My condolences to those with businesses being run in Evesham at this time - you’d have to be desperate to make a trip and battle the hour long drive from one end of town to the other.
