WORCESTER-based regional law firm Harrison Clark has introduced a new renewable energy team, which will advise on a wide range of issues relating to the renewable energy sector including regulation, planning, property, construction, corporate structure and financing, contracts and IP law.
Rachael Thornton, solicitor at Harrison Clark and part of the team, said: “The renewable industry is growing fast, with the introduction of the ‘feed-in-tariff’ and the ‘renewable heat incentive’, as well as the ‘green deal’ set to come into play in autumn 2012. More and more individuals and businesses are becoming involved with renewable projects, not just the massive energy users. The new renewable energy team at Harrison Clark has links with lenders and specialist professional advisers to ensure that our clients receive advice.”
