A FRESH injection of raw talent has boosted the architect team at the long-established Worcester practice of Panton Sargent.
A recruitment drive has resulted in six new appointments bringing a breadth of experience and skills to the company's architect and quantity surveying teams.
The three new arrivals in the architects team include Rowena Jones, who arrives at Panton Sargent with 18 months experience in the architects department of a major housebuilder and a BSc Honours in architectural technology from University College Northampton.
Keen to learn in a hands-on, professional environment, Rowena will put her design skills to the test working on Panton Sargents' portfolio of architecture clients.
Daniel Cooling recently joined Panton Sargent following a steady progression through the industry, including experience in structural engineering and construction product design. Dan has a strong understanding of construction technology which is becoming increasingly important in all projects following far-reaching legislative changes.
Kevin Scott originally joined Panton Sargent as a year out student, after completing his BA Honours in architecture at the Birmingham School of Architecture. He quickly established himself as a valuable member of the "diverse" projects team, displaying a variety of design skills and showing a good level of competence within the industry.
Jonathan Byard has worked as a professional senior quantity surveyor on a variety of projects throughout the country. His experience has been gained from both pre and post contract work on projects ranging from education, retail, commercial, ecclesiastical, heritage and housing.
Tinofara Mupasi was born and raised in a small Zimbabwean town. She studied for a BSc in property studies in Cape Town while spending holidays working for a quantity surveying firm back home. After graduating in 2004, Tinofara moved to the UK to undertake a QS position.
Tendai Mandizvidza, also from Zimbabwe, joins Panton Sargent as assistant quantity surveyor. He completed a BSc in quantity surveying from University of Central England in 2005 and immediately joined Panton Sargent.
Panton Sargent associate director Lance Locke said: "These appointments see both home grown and international expertise combining to further enhance the service."
