WEBBS, the UK Garden Centre of the Year at Wychbold, near Droitwich, has scooped another top national award.
This time the firm’s commitment to staff training was recognised.
The win was announced at a ceremony in London’s Royal Garden Hotel, where more than 300 leading garden retail figures saw the best garden centres in the country recognised at the second annual Garden Retail Awards.
As well as winning the award for commitment to training, the Bransford Webbs Plant Company won the award for best retail promotion.
Executive chairman Ed Webb said: “All in all, it was a great night for Webbs, Britain’s best garden centre.
“We have invested in a full time training officer since 2006 to make sure our staff are trained to the highest standard. As well as an extensive portfolio of in-house training courses, we also invest in external training and actively encourage staff development.”
