A SEMINAR on how to make the most of your pension fund is being organised by the Chamber of Commerce Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
It has invited Paul Taylor, the managing director of Evesham and Worcester-based firm of IFAs, McCarthy Taylor Ltd, to speak at an educational forum, which will highlight the benefits of pension saving, along with updates on current legislation to help people make confident choices about their financial future.
Mr Taylor, who has a reputation for being an expert in this field and a harsh critic of the way in which pensions have been handled in the past, will provide an explanation of the continued benefit of pensions for employers and employees.
He will cover the legislative changes and techniques to deal with the current financial crisis and market volatility.
Mr Taylor feels that pensions still have a place in the modern workplace and this will be illustrated by the benefits that can be obtained by the employers and employees.
The seminar will take place at the Pear Tree Inn and Country Hotel, Smite near Droitwich, on Tuesday, from 9am-11.30am.
To register interest and book a place on the seminar, contact Naomi Rusher, the event co-ordinator at the Chamber of Commerce, on 0845 6411523 or e-mail naomir @hw chamber.co.uk.
