WORCESTERSHIRE-based Harrison Clark is the latest UK firm to join MSI Legal and Accounting Network Worldwide.

The move gives the law firm access to a leading global network of more than 250 independent legal and accounting firms in 100 countries throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.

Senior partner Jonathan Brew, who recently attended the annual European MSI conference in Edinburgh, said: As our clients have become increasingly invol-ved in international business, as a firm we have an increasing need to develop reliable, professional relationships with firms in other commercial centres around the world.

"MSI will provide us with a network of established, capable professionals from both law and accounting firms, in whom we and our clients can have confidence.

"It will help our clients to trade in other countries and cope with different legal and tax jurisdictions. Joining MSI will also create potential new avenues of business for my firm."

Robert Capper, commercial partner at Harrison Clark, has been involved in a number of overseas projects for clients during the past 12 months.

He said: "The MSI network will enhance the international credentials of the firm. We already act for West Midlands International Trade LLP and we are heavily involved in promoting international trade through the chamber of commerce across the West Midlands, undertaking a number of speaker engagements throughout the year."
