MORE than 120 businesswomen met in Worcester for a networking event.

The fund-raising event, run by Harrison Clark solicitors and held at Brown's restaurant, saw guests enjoying drinks and canapés as they networked with colleagues and new contacts.

Guests enjoyed the pampering and other treats that were on offer, including Indian head massages, make-up demonstrations, and hair re-styling as well as some retail therapy from local retailers, including Stripes, Wish and Ruby Mae.

A raffle raised £600 for Harrison Clark's Charitable Trust, which helps a group of worthy charities.

Inger Woolhouse, a partner in Harrison Clark's corporate division, organised and hosted the event.

She said: "We are making these networking events a regular slot in our calendar. They provide a fantastic opportunity for contacts to network in a pleasant and relaxing environment, with a few added treats thrown in.

"The feedback we have had from each event so far has been very positive.''
