A DOZEN conference experts and organisers have enjoyed a grand tour of Worcestershire to highlight the county's stunning business and meetings venues.

Major conference organisers from across the UK were represented on the two-day visit, which took in locations such as Kidderminster's Ramada Hotel and Resort; West Midland Safari Park; Menzies Stourport Manor; the Elms Hotel, Abberley; Worcester Racecourse, the University of Worcester and Cotswold Conference Centre.

Emma Robinson, conference desk co-ordinator for Conference Worcestershire, which organised the day, said: "Worcestershire has many of the finest meeting venues in the Midlands and events such as this familiarisation trip help to raise our profile further.

"We have a number of award-winning venues, many of which are currently investing in even better facilities to improve Worcestershire's offer and it's right to show these off to the people who book conferences in the UK.

"The two-day trip was a great success and the feedback was extremely positive. Hopefully, the county's venues will see some direct results from the event."
