A FINAL call has gone out for entries to the Chamber Awards 2007, because the closing date is tomorrow.
The awards, now in their sixth year and organised by the Chamber of Commerce Herefordshire and Worcester-shire, recognise and reward businesses and individuals in the area.
The categories each recognise an important part of business or a sector that is vital in the two counties. The categories are: Business of the Year, sponsored by Business Link; Entrepreneur of the Year, sponsored by Kingspan Insulation; Most Promising New Business sponsored by the Rural Regeneration Zone; Worcestershire Employee of the Year sponsored by the Worcester News; Hereford-shire Employee of the Year sponsored by the Hereford Times; Award for Skills Develop-ment sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council; Innovation through Tech-nology Award sponsored by the Central Technology Belt; Award for Business Commit-ment in the Community sponsored by Worcestershire County Council; and finally, the Excellence in Tourism Award.
It's easy and free for businesses to enter. All they have to do is visit www.hwchamberawards.com and complete the online entry form.
The category winners will be announced at an awards dinner on Thursday, June 21, at Worcester Rugby Club.
