WORCESTER-based Prin-cipia School of Language is searching for local businesses who can offer four or eight-week unpaid work placements to one of a group of bilingual secretarial students from Germany.
The seven students are from the Ludwig-Erhard-Berufskolleg in Bonn. All are aged 20 or 21 and in their second year of the course. They have advan-ced English language and computer skills and would expect to play a meaningful role in office life in Worcester.
The German students will be in Worcester this month until next June. Two students will stay until next July. All accommodation has been organised and the students have a busy cultural programme.
Peter Corbishley, Principa director, said: "Last year local companies offered placements to 40 of our European students but this year we anticipate an even greater demand.
