THERE are now only two weeks to go before the entry deadline for the sixth annual Chamber Awards.
The winners will be honoured at a gala Chamber Awards dinner on Thursday, June 21, at Worcester Rugby Club, Sixways, Worcester.
For the first time ever, the awards will take on a nautical theme, with guests transported' aboard a luxury cruiser from New York to Sydney and Rio de Janeiro.
And support for the awards is at an all-time high, with all the major sponsors having already stepped aboard to make sure they don't miss out on one of the biggest events of the business calendar.
As in previous years, there are eight different award categories.
The Award for Skills Development is being sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), while Worcestershire County Council is sponsoring the Business Commitment in the Community Award.
Business Link is sponsoring the overall Business of the Year Award; Kingspan Insulation the Entrepreneur of the Year Award, and the Rural Regeneration Zone (RRZ) is backing the Most Promising New Business.
The Worcester News is sponsoring the Employee of the Year Award, as it did last year, and the Central Technology Belt (CTB) is putting its resources behind the Innovation through Technology Award.
Only the new Excellence through Tourism Award is still available for headline sponsorship. For more information about the Chamber Awards 2007 call 0845 641 1641 or visit: www.hwchamberawards.com
