WORCESTERSHIRE-based communication firm DRP Group held a first aid training day for all its employees.
As a medium-sized business, DRP Group, from Hartlebury, near Kidderminster, has to train two staff members in first aid. However, managing director Dale Parmenter decided to equip the entire team with first aid knowledge.
Mr Parmenter said: "Every company will, at some point or another, have to deal with first aid emergencies. Whether it be as simple as providing a bandage or as serious helping someone who is having a heart attack, it is important for companies to be prepared with the right knowledge and equipment for all types of medical emergencies.
"Not only can it help to save lives but statistics show that people trained in first aid are less likely to be injured both at work and out of work."
