CONFERENCE-Worcester-shire boss Emma Robinson is showcasing the county's conference venues and service providers at a series of major international exhibitions.
Miss Robinson has already boosted the county's profile by taking Conference Worcestershire to Confex, at London's Earl's Court, in the last week of February.
She is now teaming up with Staffordshire and the Black Country to promote the West Midlands as a potential conference venue at HRD, an exhibition aimed at learning and training providers.
"Confex is the biggest exhibition in the UK for conference organisers and appearing there put Worcestershire's venues where they belong - at the forefront of the industry," said Miss Robinson.
"HRD, at ExCel in London, is another exciting opportunity for me to promote Worcestershire's hotels, dedicated conference centres, sports clubs, university and other venues to those who are looking for the ideal conference location.
"Confex saw record visitor numbers and it was great to meet prospective clients.
"I felt that it generated some exciting leads for us and hopefully some the county's conference venues will benefit directly from them.
"I am hoping HRD this week will have been just as successful. In Worcestershire, we have some of the finest conference venues and business meeting centres in the Midlands, and the country.
"Showing them off at these major exhibitions is a great way of raising the county's profile and driving business tourism to the area."
HRD, which ends today, is attended by more than 18,000 delegates from across the UK.
