SMALL businesses in Worcestershire are being invited to follow have their Eureka moment and discover how they can think outside the box. The University of Worcester, in partnership with Shropshire Council, is organising a series of half-day events designed to help bosses think differently about their business, be more competitive in the market and win and keep new customers.
The Eureka Moment! project - formerly Stimulating Innovation and Growth - is funded by the European Regional Development Fund and aimed at small businesses, from micro-businesses to those employing fewer than 250 employees. The free workshops will cover topics like business and finance, enterprise resource planning, more efficient operation, using the internet for marketing and funding and additional support opportunities.
The first event will take place at The Hive, Worcester on April 29 from 9.00am - 12.30p.m. It will include a briefing on the Eureka Moment ! project, future workshops and free consultancy, as well as opportunities to apply for grant finance to support business innovation.
