SOUTHCO Manufacturing, the latches and hinges specialists on Shire Business Park, Worcester, has been shortlisted for best voluntary benefits at the Employee Benefits Awards 2014. Together with the employee benefits and HR support services provider BHSF Services of Birmingham, the global engineering firm launched its revamped benefits package last November. It includes employee discounts, a health cash plan, an employee assistance programme and other voluntary benefits, as well as Southco’s own pension scheme, computer programme and more.
Sue Roberts, the company’s compensation and benefits manager for Europe, said: "Employee benefits and engagement have always been important to Southco, and BHSF has helped us to hone our offering to provide the best possible package. We have recently been recognised as the only organisation in the area with Level 2 Worcestershire Works Well accreditation, and the addition of an Employee Benefits Award would be another fantastic achievement.”
The Employee Benefits Awards results will be announced on June 27.
