RECRUITMENT professional Pamela Easen is now applying her expertise to the education sector. Mrs Easen is chief executive of Worcester-based A1 education solutions, which aims to provide a comprehensive service to meet clients’ flexible, short term and permanent staffing requirements.

The consultancy, which has offices in County House, St Mary's Street, also offers training solutions for primary, secondary and specialist educational needs plus pre and post Ofsted inspection preparation and action planning.

The founder of recruitment, training and healthcare services provider H1 Healthcare, Mrs Easen has based her latest venture on the same successful values and the desire to build an organisation that represents a brand of trust. A1’s first appointment is lead consultant Keith Shannon, who brings more than three decades of education and management know-how to the company.

Mr Shannon, who lives in Herefordshire, has taught from ages three to adult with his final post being head teacher of a secondary school in the Channel Islands. His team of consultants includes head teachers and senior Ofsted inspection leaders. “I’m delighted to welcome Keith on board as his skills will undoubtedly help us to grow,” said Mrs Easen, who plans to take on an experienced recruiter to manage the company in the coming months.
