A RECRUITMENT and training firm has won a top award after helping people learn new skills and find jobs with hundreds of businesses across Worcestershire. eResponse Recruitment has been named 2013 growth business of the year by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Com-merce as part of its annual business awards.
The firm, which was founded 10 years ago by brothers Paul and Joe Alekna, has more than 500 business clients and employs 40 people in branches in Worcester, Redditch and its training academy in Kidderminster’s Chu-rch Street.
Their training academies, which can cater for up to 200 people daily, have played a vital role in the economic upturn by making sure that businesses with the confidence to recruit have the right people ready to work.
eResponse beat five other county businesses to win the accolade, which came in only the first year that the company had entered the awards.
Joe Alekna, recruitment director at eResponse, said: “To win the award and be recognised for our ambition and growth is fantastic. It is a superb 10th birthday present and is just reward for the hard work of our team.” eResponse place more than 6,000 people into temporary or permanent jobs each year and have almost 800 fully trained people out on work contracts every day across Worcestershire.
