Book now for business event not to be missed

IT’S business cards at the ready for the annual Chamber Business Expo, organised by Herefordshire and Worcester-shire Chamber of Commerce and held this year on Wednesday, November 13 at the Chateau Impney Hotel in Droitwich. The event, which runs from 8am to 3pm, is one of the Chamber's most popular and a great opportunity for businesses to network and gain crucial business contacts, as well as promote their company and raise their profile. This year it takes place as part of the national Export Week and there will be plenty of opportunities for businesses to hear from industry experts and trade advisers. The Chamber and UKT&I will have dedicated international trade advisers on hand to support businesses and two free workshops ‘Structuring Finance for Export Orders’ and ‘Incubate for Export’ to provide practical advice to companies that currently export or are thinking of expanding in to new markets. There will also be a business support zone featuring organisations that offer fully or partly public funded support to qualifying businesses in the region and a resource efficient Worcestershire zone featuring renewable and energy efficient technologies that can help save on energy bills. This area will also have information on match funded grants available to help install energy efficient technologies (part fun-ded by the European Regional Development Fund). Specialist seminars are also taking place throughout the day. The Expo starts with a networking breakfast, before the official opening at 9am.
