RENEWABLE energy specialists Eco2Solar is set to represent the West Midlands at the Oscars of the renewable energy industry.
The Kidderminster-based firm is a national finalist in the prestigious Energy Efficiency and Renewables Awards.
The company, which is based on the Hoo Farm industrial estate, has been shortlisted in the solar PV installer category for this year’s event which will be held at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on Thursday, September 12.
Organised by Energy Efficiency Exhibitions, the awards recognise the achievements of professionals working in the energy efficiency and renewable energy industry.
Eco2Solar will go head to head with fellow finalists Kirklees Council Building Services, Dodd Group and Carbon Zero Renewables.
“We’re delighted to be recognised and take our place alongside fellow renewable energy specialists in the industry,” said Paul Hutchens, managing director of Eco2Solar.
“To be one of the five finalists in such a fiercely contested category is a real honour and it is a testament to our success as a company UK wide.”
This year’s ceremony will be hosted by Nick Hewer and Rachel Riley, of Channel 4’s Countdown.
