A MALVERN business has been able to launch an interactive website thanks to a grant from Worcestershire County Council.
Holywell Malvern Spring Water received £2,500 from the county’s new business support service, Enterprising Worcestershire.
Rhys Humm, Holywell managing director, said: “Money from Enterprising Worcestershire has enabled us to produce a really interactive website, which will help our direct sales and sustain the brand over the coming years.”
Businesses which have been running for more than a year can apply for grants of up to £2,500, plus free support.
New businesses can obtain a grant from £500 to £1,000 and advice on matters such as registering a business, health and safety requirements, cash flow management and business planning.
Ahmed Goga, the council’s head of economic development and planning, said: “Small businesses are the lifeblood of the economy, providing jobs, creativity and innovation. We aim to support and nurture this successful heritage.”
