TEMPERATURES will soar this weekend as Worcestershire sizzles while water bosses have urged people to use showers instead of taking a bath to save water.
Worcester News weatherman Paul Damari said temperatures could rise to 26C or 27C (79F or 81F) in Worcestershire today, continuing the warm temperatures seen yesterday. The weather is expected to cool off by tomorrow and remain warm through the week with an increased risk of thundery showers.
Meanwhile, Severn Trent has urged people to swap baths for showers and fix dripping taps as water levels fall in the dry spell.
Reservoir levels across the region are currently about 10 per cent lower than they would normally be at this time of year.
