SHOPPERS can choose which local charity should be supported by a Worcester supermarket this year.
Sainsbury’s in St John’s wants customers and colleagues to put forward the names of worthy causes they want the store to support until Tuesday, June 14.
Shoppers can vote in store and the winner will be announced later in the month.
Last year, the store’s local charity partner was the city’s St Richard’s Hospice.
Store manager Gavin Jones said: “The Local Charity Partner scheme really engages both our colleagues and customers.
“This is a great opportunity for our customers to give a local charity that’s close to their hearts the chance to receive fund-raising and other support from Sainsbury’s St John’s for a year.
“We now need our customers to come in and tell us who we should consider supporting for the third year of the scheme.”
