THESE two feathered friends show how a parents’ work is never done.
Captured by Dave Grubb in his garden in Claines, Worcester, the robin chick, pictured right, is still happy to be taken under the wing of its parent when it comes to meal times, despite the fact that it looks old enough to fly the nest.
Mr Grubb said: “I had been going out to do some photographic work with peregrines and to see if I could find a red kite but I had no luck and it was raining. I’d finished cleaning and putting my camera equipment back together when I saw these two.
They caught my eye because they looked like two adults. They were there for about a minute and then they flew off again.”
