THESE two generous women want to give you their money.
Gemma Nichols and Kate Potham are Tesco community champions. Each of them have been allocated a budget by the supermarket to distribute as they wish among community groups, local charities and schools in Worcester.
Miss Nichols, of Evesham, is based at the store in Mill Wood Drive, Warndon Villages and Mrs Potham at St Peter’s Drive, St Peter’s.
Miss Nichols, who recently graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in public services, was offered the role after initially applying for a different role within the store.
She said: “I didn’t realise this role was available when I applied but I met the personnel manager and she nominated me for this role, it’s something they were really keen to set up.
“I’m hoping to help as many people as possible, it’s exciting and I’m really looking forward to it.”
