BALLOONS danced across Worcester’s riverside as part of a 21st anniversary celebration.
Dancefest held a balloon boogie to mark their 21st year on the South Quay, when more than 50 teachers, staff and class participants performed a short and lively dance with their balloons.
The organisation started life as a festival at Worcester Arts Workshop in 1990 and has grown to incorporate classes, workshops and performances all year round.
Manager Rose Beeston said: “At the beginning of our 21st anniversary celebrations it was lovely to have such fun with so many people.
“Over the intervening years Dancefest has been transformed from a two- week festival to a thriving organisation but its aims remain the same: to provide great dance to people of all ages and abilities in the counties of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.”
