YOUNG children in Worcester did their part for charity by taking part in a “big toddle”.
The youngsters – who got to dress up for the day – raised more than £80 from their sponsored walk for The Big Toddle, a national fund-raising drive by children’s charity Barnardo’s to help the UK’s most disadvantaged under-fives.
Childminders Sara Marchant, Louise Davies and Sarah Ogley organised the local event at the Worcester Countryside playing fields.
Ms Marchant said: “Our big toddle was a huge success, raising more than £80 so far for an amazing cause.
“The children loved dressing up and exploring the woods.
“Every child received a medal and certificate and we have made a display in our settings to celebrate our success.”
