A WORCESTER girl and her dog are through to the live semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent.
Pippa Langhorne and Buddy will be singing – and yowling – live for their place in the final of the ITV1 talent competition on Friday, hoping to make it through to Saturday’s final.
Pippa, of Rainbow Hill, and her eight-month-old puppy are getting ready to perform on Friday’s show, so are spending every minute they can this week practicing.
They are one of 40 acts – and one of three acts with dogs – who will perform throughout the week hoping to get as many people to vote for them as possible.
Unfortunately, opera singer Pippa will not be joined by Take Fat – the other Worcester act which caused quite a stir when they appeared at the Birmingham auditions – after they failed to make the judges’ shortlist of 40 acts for the live semi-final broadcasts.
“I’m devastated for them,” said the 20-year-old.
“It would have been amazing to have me and the guys go through together, but I’m sure they will be absolutely fine.”
