LITTLE ones will enjoy all the fun of the fair to raise money for a playgroup.
Sticky Fingers playgroup and pre-school at St Stephen’s Church in Barbourne, Worcester, has organised a summer fair with a bouncy castle, face painting and games. There will also be fun for adults with stalls selling cakes, plants, pickles and jams and aloe vera products.
At the fair tomorrow there will also be a barbecue and it will be opened by Worcester Warriors’ Dale Rasmussen. The money raised will go to the Droitwich Road playgroup for outdoor play equipment and a sensory garden.
Organiser Heidi Mills, the playgroup’s secretary, said: “We are a charity and this is our most important fund-raiser. We get funding from the Government but that doesn’t cover everything.”
The fair runs between 11am and 2pm.
