A SCHEME which offers a variety of weekly activities for the elderly has been presented with a cheque for £500.
The money was raised by Margaret Rutter during her year in office at the Soroptimist International Worcester and Malvern Club. The West Worcester Live at Home Scheme is just one of the many charities supported by the organisation.
Anna Byers, manager of West Worcester Live at Home Scheme, said: “We are so grateful for the efforts of the Soroptimist Worcester and Malvern Club and feel privileged to be one of their nominated charities.”
The scheme helps the elderly to get out and about.
