THE site manager for a firm refurbishing a Malvern hotel has been jailed for his third drink-driving offence in nine years.
Police came across a van stopped in the middle of the road with its headlights on near the Foley Arms at 12.30am on November 12 last year.
Lee Williams was arguing with a colleague and admitted he had been driving.
Williams was breath-tested and had a reading of 53mcg. The legal limit is 35mcg.
He pleaded guilty to driving with excess alcohol and while disqualified.
Worcester magistrates sentenced the 36-year-old, of Copelstone Road, Cardiff, to four months in prison and banned him for three years.
When he appealed at Worcester Crown Court against the sentence it was reduced to three months but the disqualification remains.
