A WOMAN had to be cut from a car after it was involved in a smash with a recovery truck.
Emergency services were called to the crash on the A4103 at Leigh Sinton at about 11am on Friday.
Crews from Malvern and Worcester used specialist cutting gear to remove the roof from the car and release a woman in her 50s trapped inside it.
She was taken by ambulance to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with minor injuries.
Station commander Steve Fox, from Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service, said: “The woman was medically trapped inside her car and firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof and extricate her.”
