THREE people were taken to hospital following a crash between a van and a car yesterday.
Three men were injured in the crash which happened between Bransford and Leigh Sinton at 11.45am. A teenager, who had been a passenger in the car, was airlifted to Worcestershire Royal Hospital with rib injuries.
A man in his 20s was treated at the scene for abdominal injuries and the third man received minor injuries.
Both were taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital by land ambulance.
West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two land ambulances, a BASICs doctor, ambulance incident officer in a rapid response vehicle and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham base to the scene.
A spokesperson for the service said: “Ambulance crews treated three men at the scene.
“A teenager passenger in the car suffered rib injuries and was airlifted to Worcester Royal Hospital.
“A man in his 20s was treated for abdominal injuries and a further male patient received minor injuries. Both of these casualties were treated at the scene before being taken by land ambulance to the Worcester Royal Hospital for further assessment and treatment."
