A FIRE at a former industrial building where asbestos was present was successfully put out.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service were called to the fire at the old salt building, in Hanbury Road, Droitwich, at 2.35am.
There was asbestos in the roof of the building.
One appliance from Droitwich and another from Bromsgrove attended the scene.
There were multiple seats of fire but they had been successfully put out by crews by 3.30am.
