A STOURPORT man who threatened to bite his friend’s nose off has been jailed.
Daniel Cole, aged 21, of Gable Yard, Broach Mead-ow, Stourport, and Barry Watkins, 23, met 18-year-old victim Ashley Shuck in the flat of a female friend in Park Court, Park Street, Kidderminster, on April 27 last year.
They punched him to the head and body, held him around the neck and Cole bit his nose, leaving him with cuts and bruising to his face and body.
Watkins, of Conningsby Drive, Kidderminster, denied assault causing actual bodily harm saying he was under the influence of drink and drugs.
He was found guilty at an earlier trial.
Cole admitted assault causing actual bodily harm. Worcester Crown Court was told both men had previous convictions and had spent time in custody for violent offences.
Watkins was jailed for 30 months, less the 63 days he has spent in custody.
Cole was given a jail sentence of 22 months, less the 278 days he has spent in custody on remand and minus 31 days he had previously spent on an electronic tag.
