A NIGHTCLUB has shown a refreshing side to business by helping out Worcester teenagers.
Tramps in Angel Place has given away dozens of bottles and cans of soft drinks to Perdiswell Young People’s Leisure Club.
Supervisor Lee Freeman said he was inspired to help the club because of the support it gives to youngsters in the community.
“I contacted the club because I know they do a lot of things for under 18s,” he said.
“We operate nights for the under 18s as well. It’s been brilliant to help them and to show the community that we care.”
The drinks will be sold at a low price to youngsters and the money raised will go back into running the club and its skate park.
Youth worker Scott Howland said: “We have hundreds of kids who use the skate park every day and this will go towards helping to keep it open.
“It shows the value of working together as a community.”
Tramps is holding its next under 18s event, a Popcorn Party, on Tuesday, May 31 from 7pm to 11pm.
Tickets are available from the Tramps office, on the door or online.
