STAFF and ministers from South Korea visited an environmentally friendly Worcester school for inspiration to build their own schools of the future.
Red Hill CE Primary School, off London Road, welcomed the 21 visitors yesterday as part of visits to schools in England and Holland to see examples of good practice in environmental education and eco-friendly buildings and their surroundings.
The group was welcomed into a school assembly then treated to tours of the school, talks and discussions.
Headteacher Spencer Morris said: “Although we are lucky to have such a great building, it is the work of the staff, caretaker and pupils towards caring for the environment and environmental education that makes me most proud.”
Leader of the group James Pauk said: “We have got so much out of this visit, we have learned a lot particularly about good building design and children’s education in the UK.”
