A DRAGON boating team made up of breast cancer survivors are looking to recruit new members for a race next month to raise money for the Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign.
Worcester Busters are a Worcester dragon boating team made up of breast cancer survivors.
The team has five boats, each of which is filled by 20 paddlers, but the team is looking to have one full boat of Busters for Race the Dragon on Sunday, June 19.
New recruit Annie Phillips, aged 51, said: “Dragon boating is great fun and is open to everyone regardless of age or fitness level and may help those who are suffering from lymphodema.
“Potential new crew members can come along for a free trial to see if it’s for them but most find it’s such fun that they sign up.”
Anyone interested in joining the team should e-mail busters@worcester-dragons.org.uk or phone Annie on 07989 385376.
