MORE than 200 athletes took part in the Worcestershire Track and Field Championships at Nunnery Wood Sports Complex.
Among the highlights for the host club was Alice Wright, who won the under 17s girls’ 3,000 metres in nine minutes 40.5 seconds.
Other leading performances included Megan Barrett, of Cheltenham Harriers, winning the u13s girls 200m in 26.3secs and Dewi Hammond, from Bromsgrove and Redditch, the u20s men’s 100m in 10.8secs.
Birchfield Harrier Adam Damadzic threw 55.04 metres in the u20s men’s discus.
Athletes can qualify for the event by residency.
