WORCESTER sixth form pupils raised more than £400 for charity.
The money will be donated to Help for Heroes and Army of Angels, a charity based in Tewkesbury, which helps local soldiers and their families.
They raised money through a raffle, a bucking bronco, a barbecue, a raffle and fancy dress. There was also a DJ throughout the day at the college.
Sally Mills, co-ordinator for student council and charities at the sixth form college, said: “It was an absolutely amazing day.
“The kids really loved it and got really stuck in.
“One of the boys is actually in the TA so he came in his uniform.
“We are sending the money to Help for Heroes and are also sending a proportion of the money to a local charity, which helps local people.”
