A SERVICE at Worcester Cathedral marked 90 years of the Royal British Legion.
The event on Sunday to mark the milestone began with a procession with standards into the nave by representatives of the legion, which was formed on May 15, 1921, to offer support to ex-servicemen.
The purpose of the service was to commemorate the creation of the legion, which was formed by merging four national organisations of ex-serviceman set up after the First World War.
The mayor of Worcester, Coun Mike Layland, was among those to attend the service.
