A WORCESTER teenager is going through to the semi-finals of a national charity competition hoping to become an ambassador to help those in developing countries.
Holly Gilchrist, aged 14, from St Peter’s, Worcester, is taking part in UK Teen Dreams and is hoping for a chance to help people in developing countries around the world by being given the rare chance to visit the places where fundraising has helped people’s everyday lives.
The charity, which was launched only in May this year in association with the Mad Foundation, is aimed at getting teenagers involved in charity work by teaching them first-hand how to really make a difference.
Holly is competing with 35 other girls in the competition and needs the public to vote for her so she can get a step closer to the all important finals.
To vote for Holly visit ukteendreams.com. Voting ends on Saturday, June 4.
