ARBORICULTURALISTS had to be careful while cutting tree branches in a Worcester park.
As workers set about trimming trees in Gheluvelt Park, Barbourne, they discovered a small nest of bees on one of the branches.
Luckily it was not in an area close to any children’s play facilities and the bees did not swarm despite being disturbed.
People were warned not to go near the nest following its discovery until experts were brought in to remove it.
