CHILDREN got to grips with a Gladiators-style climbing wall at a family fun day in Drotwich.
Primary school pupils were also encouraged to dress up for the event at the Lido Park.
The ‘Knees Up’ event, organised by Droitwich Knee Clinic, had a health theme.
The best dressed visitor won £60 worth of health-related teaching aids for their primary school, courtesy of the Knee Foundation and the knee clinic.
Children dressed up as nurses, doctors, sports players, gym instructors and even fruit and vegetables.
The event, which ran from 10am until 1pm, included a giant inflatable slide, face painting and a lucky dip. For adults there was a jazz band, raffle, tombola and book stall. The Knee Foundation’s sponsored one-mile and three-mile walks around the park for knee patients, friends and family also took place All funds raised will help the foundation celebrate its 20th anniversary this year.
