BRITAIN’S Got Talent has been busy filming a Worcester opera sensation and her dog at home.

Pippa Langhorne and her dog Buddy became over-night stars after they impressed judges on the ITV show with their rendition of the classic Pie Jesu.

On Friday, Britain’s Got Talent’s camera crews were in Worcester filming for their upcoming shows.

Audiences are waiting to see if Miss Langhorne, aged 20, and Buddy, aged just seven months, will get through to the live voting rounds of the contest.

Until then, the pair are enjoying the limelight.

“It’s been fantastic,” said Miss Langhorne, who lives in Rainbow Hill.

“My family and friends are absolutely over the moon – so, so proud. Everywhere they go they are telling people about the show.

“I even have family who I have never spoken to in Ireland who are getting excited. It’s magical how a big competition like this can pull people together.”

But Miss Langhorne – who only discovered she could sing recently – is not sure how long the duo will continue to perform.

She said: “I would like to branch out on my own but, on the other hand, I love singing and performing with him. In terms of actually making a career out of it, I would prefer Buddy to have more of a dog’s life.”
