Worcester votes no to AV
THE people of Worcester have rejected the Alternative Vote, it was announced a few moments ago at the city's Guildhall.
Out of nearly 30,000 votes cast, 20,083 said no to AV. Only 9,525 voted yes.
The overall result of the national referendum is expected later tonight.
