THE Labour group have secured a seat on Wychavon District Council four years after they were wiped out in the local elections.
Peter Pinfield was elected to one of the two seats in Droitwich East ward, and acknowledged the "kicking" his party had received at the last election.
He was elected alongside councillor Lynne Duffy (Cons) - the mayor of Droitwich.
He received 622 votes and Coun Duffy 679.
