REHOMED greyhounds will be drawing the attention of shoppers to their less fortunate friends this weekend.
Dogs who have been rehomed by the charity Greyhound Rescue West of England will be meeting and greeting people at Tesco in St Peter’s, Worcester, today and tomorrow.
Jenny Cranton, events co-ordinator and greryhound owner, said: “We are hoping our meet and greet at Tesco’s will result in new homes for some of the greyhounds and lurchers in our care.
“They are very gentle and laid-back dogs, they like company but are perfectly happy to snooze most of the day.”
One dog that the charity will be looking to rehome is 18-month-old lurcher Ivy, who came to the Greyhound Rescue as a member of an unwanted litter. If you can offer her a loving home, call 07000 785092, or visit grwe.com
