WORCESTERSHIRE Wildlife Trust needs more men to make a Valentine’s Volunteers event at Tiddesley Wood, Pershore, a success.
Following the success of last year’s event, the trust has decided to make the speed dating event a regular feature in its calendar.
As well as helping countryside-loving singles find each other, organisers are also hoping to find more volunteers to help with valuable work.
Paul Trevor, volunteer co-ordinator for the trust, said: “Almost all volunteer surveys indicate that people get involved because they want to meet new people.”
All the places for women are full, but there are places left for men.
The event takes place on Sunday, February 13, from 10am to 1.30pm. It is free but booking is essential through Mr Trevor on 01905 754919 or e-mail paul@worcester shirewildlifetrust.org.
