THE Bishop of Worcester paid a visit to residents of the YMCA in Worcester last week to raise awareness of a national action week.
The Rt Rev John Inge visited the YMCA in Henwick Road, St John’s, on Tuesday, February 1, to raise awareness of Poverty and Homelessness Action Week, which ran from Saturday, January 29, until yesterday.
During his visit, Bishop John, who is president of the YMCA in Worcester, met staff members and residents.
He said: “I am honoured to be president of the YMCA in Worcester, which does so much good work for the more vulnerable people in our society.
“It is good to be able to draw attention to what they do during Poverty and Homelessness Action Week.”
